The guest table
In the evening, we offer a locavore table d’hôtes in the form of a hot or cold “meal basket”, vegetarian or not. These picnic baskets are composed exclusively of local, fresh, and seasonal products. Prepared by Marina, they will be delivered directly to the terrace of your unusual and peaceful accommodation between the Ardèche and Gard regions, in the charming town of Barjac.NEW: Escape with our Tahitian-style raw fish, a childhood recipe of Marina's, revisited with excellent fresh local trout from Les Fumades, or with our trout tartare with an island flavor...
Important:
- Advance booking is essential and must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- We serve no more than 8 covers per evening (special conditions for groups: please inquire).
- This service is provided only on the evening, except for the "Pik-Nik" takeaway baskets available from the morning.
Details of the baskets
- Aperitif Basket (€15/2 people) which, as its name suggests, is an aperitif and not a meal ;-) : tapenade, olives, brandade, artisanal chips, country sausage, cherry tomatoes and a glass of your choice (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
- Picnic Basket (€26/2 people): organic hard-boiled egg, tomato, terrine, Pélardon cheese, artisanal chips, bread, seasonal fruit and 1/2 bottle of mineral water (please note: to be taken away in the morning, for lunch only!)
- Salad Basket (€30/2 people): large vegetarian salad made with fresh, local and seasonal produce, bread and a glass of drink per person (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
- Gardéchoise Platter (€40/2 people): local specialties (cured meats, olive tapenade, cheeses, crudités...) and a glass of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage per person
- NEW FOR 2025: Polynesian Basket(€48/2 people): Tahitian-style raw fish (fresh local trout from Les Fumades, organic coconut milk, organic vegetables), bowl of organic rice, local cheese, and a glass of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage per person
- NEW FOR 2026: Freshness Basket(€48/2 people): Tartare of fresh local trout from Les Fumades, organic vegetables, seasoning, bowl of rice, local cheese, and a glass of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage per person
- Gourmet or Vegetarian Basket(€60/2 people): terrine and crudités, hot dish, vegetables, cheese, dessert, and a quarter-liter of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage alcohol
- Festive Basket (€85/2 people): Champagne aperitif basket, gourmet or vegetarian meal, 1/4 bottle of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage, silver cutlery and tablecloth
- Children's Basket (€12/child): For children under 10. Just like the grown-ups, but in smaller quantities!
Lunchboxes
We offer local food picnic baskets, hot or cold, vegetarian or not, composed of fresh, seasonal, local dishes. Treat yourself to one of our baskets, for two people, to enjoy either on your private terrace, in your unusual accommodation, in the common room, or by the pool.

For our youngest guests (children under 10 years old), we offer the "Piou-Piou" menu for €12, composed of the same starters and main courses as the adult menu, but in smaller portions. All accompanied by organic yogurt and organic syrup or a glass of organic fruit juice.
